For sale on behalf of the current (and only the 2nd) owner, who acquired this spectacular manual 993 Carrera 4 coupe on 29th June 2001. The service history is comprehensive, with 16 maintenance stamps in the service record, supported by a file of invoices covering all work done since 2001. The owners leather book pack is complete with all manuals, radio key code, spare alarm fob, 3rd key with identification tag, and the owners manual is personally signed by Tony Hatter, the designer of the 993.
In incredibly good and highly original condition, the Arctic Silver paintwork is virtually unblemished, with just a few tiny stone chips to the bonnet. The grey leather interior is also in excellent condition, with just the driver’s seat outer side bolster showing some ageing of the leather. Everything inside the car works exactly as it should. The 17″ Carrera alloy wheels are perfect, and fitted with recent Michelin Pilot Sport N3 tyres.
Mechanically, R542 LSF is in fine fettle, having benefitted from a “no expense spared” approach to maintenance and upkeep throughout the owner’s long tenure. Indeed, the invoices on file amount to just under £24,000 worth of expenditure over the last 18 years, including over £10,000 spent on complete overhaul of the suspension and brakes, plus other works, between 2017 and 2019.
This is a very special car – one of the very last air-cooled 911s, with less than 55,000 miles recorded, and having been owned by the same Porsche enthusiast since 2001. Please call Sean on 07595 455568 for further information or to arrange to view.
Additional pictures of all aspects of the car will be added in the coming days.
