Flat Six Classics has been established by Sean Dewhurst to offer like-minded enthusiasts the opportunity to share his lifelong passion for cars and driving.
After a career in advertising and marketing agencies in London, Sean moved with his family to North Devon in 2005, and since then has set up and run a number of classic vehicle businesses, from classic car and VW campervan hire, to restoring classic Range Rovers.
But his first love has always been sports cars, in particular Porsche and BMW Motorsport cars from the late 1980’s to the early 2000’s. These cars are modern enough to be usable every day, but with manual gearboxes, high revving naturally aspirated engines and limited electronic intervention, they offer a driving experience that is purer and much more involving than modern equivalents with their turbos, paddle shifts, driving modes and electronic nannies doing most of the driving.
Flat Six Classics sell Porsche Boxster and Cayman models that offer a pure, unadulterated driving experience, with the classic Porsche flat-six engine as the heart and soul of the car.
