Here we have a late 2005 registered 987.1 Cayman 3.4 S, fresh from a full Hartech engine rebuild carried out in May 2024. LJ55WWF has covered 77,340 miles in the hands of 5 owners, and has an enviable service history and significant expenditure in recent years, resulting in a Cayman S that is mechanically as good as they get.

LJ55WWF was first registered in December 2005, and was specified with the following factory options – Basalt Black metallic paint, black extended leather interior, PCM2 Porsche Communications Management, PASM Porsche Active Suspension Management, climate control, rear parking sensors, BOSE Surround Sound, 6-disc CD changer, Bi-xenon Lighting system, heated seats and a top tinted windscreen. NR04WLW is a rare factory 996.2 GT3 Clubsport (no absolute figures but assumed to be around 70 sold in the UK), presented in Basalt Black metallic with black interior, including Nomex cloth Recaro race seats. The no-cost M003 Clubsport option included the Recaro seats, rear roll cage, 6 point harnesses, a fire extinguisher and preparation for an electrical cut out on the scuttle panel. Basically quite a lot of what went into the GT3 RS, minus the carbon panels, polycarbonate windows and single mass flywheel.

2000 Porsche 986 Boxster 3.2 S – W548XAR. 64k miles, 6-speed manual, Speed Yellow, black leather. 2 owners, the first for 23 years. Stunning condition, early Stuttgart-built 3.2 S. A car we sold last year, we are pleased to welcome back one of the nicest early 986 Boxster S cars we’ve ever had. Here is the story of the car from last year…

“It’s not very often we get to buy an early 986 Boxster from the person that ordered it new, but in this case we were lucky enough to meet the chap who bought his car 23 years ago from Carrs Porsche of Exeter. And what a car it is – an early Stuttgart-built 3.2 S in one of our favourite colours Speed Yellow, with black leather, heated seats, automatic air conditioning and traction control (ASR and ABD, the forerunners to PSM).

Taken in part exchange for a Cayman S, this lovely GT86 coupe in Spark Red with black Alcantara cloth interior has higher mileage, but benefits from a good service history by a long term enthusiast owner, who has also spent money on some really high quality branded parts to improve performance – Meister R coilovers, HKS cat back exhaust, Tomei unequal length manifolds and overpipe, Whiteline anti roll bars and drop links.
