Another car we’ve sold (twice!) before, V73 FPB is now back in stock, it’s previous owner having swapped it for our Cobalt Blue 987 Cayman S.
Guards Red with black leather is such a classic Porsche colour scheme that it’s surprising how few 986 Boxsters were ordered in this specification. We absolutely love them here at Flat Six Classics, and it seems our customers do too, as every time we get a Guards Red car in, they don’t tend to hang around long.
It obviously helps when the examples we get are low mileage cars in lovely condition, and V73 FPB ticks those boxes as well. With just 47,875 miles covered in nearly 23 years, this very early Stuttgart-built 3.2 S has a good service history with 16 stamps in the service record, the first 10 at Porsche main dealers.
The 2000 model year 3.2 S cars built between September 1999 and mid-2000 include some [...]

LF05LUW is a stunning 987.1 Boxster 3.2 S in Atlas Grey with black leather interior and hood. The car has now covered 91,160 miles in total, with an impeccable service record at Porsche OPCs and well-regarded Porsche specialists. This is a car we sold to a chap from Suffolk back in September 2020, who has continued its maintenance at well-regarded Porsche specialists Pie Performance, and added a DesignTek stainless steel sports exhaust system. We bought the car back from him in March 2023, and prepared the car for sale again with new front brake discs and pads, refurbished the wheels and fitted 4 new tyres, and replaced the coolant hoses and crossover pipes. It was soon sold to a customer from Stirling, however a change in his circumstances has led to us buying the car back after just a few months.
Benefitting from an extensive options list that includes heated hardback [...]

Number 332 of the 1,960 limited edition Boxster RS60 Spyders produced in 2008, YJZ6795 is a car that we sourced for a customer back in 2018, and one that we subsequently sold to it’s current owner in April 2022. The RS60 was available in four distinct variations, manual or Tiptronic, and either a Carrera Red interior and roof, or graphite grey as an alternative. It’s subjective I know, but the best combination has to be a manual car with the Carrera Red interior, the closest approximation to the racing Type 718 Spyders that won the Sebring 12 hours and the Targa Florio in 1960. YJZ6795 ticks both boxes, and as one of just 300 UK RHD cars out of the worldwide 1,960 made, it’s pretty rare too.
Now showing just 48,952 miles and with a full service history (8 stamps in the service record, the last a Minor service at renowned [...]

HG08AZN was one of the first Caymans we sold back in November 2018, and we are delighted to welcome it back to Flat Six Classics, it’s owner having decided to change to a 981 Boxster S after nearly 5 years of ownership.
Presented in classic Arctic Silver with black leather interior, HG08AZN has now covered 67,726 miles, and has an excellent service history, showing 10 stamps in the maintenance record, all from Porsche main dealers or recognised Porsche specialists. Options fitted when new include hard-backed sports seats with embossed Porsche crests, 19″ ‘lobster claw’ alloy wheels, PCM2 Porsche Communications Management, BOSE sound system, ParkAssistant rear parking sensors, and automatic air conditioning.
The previous owner (our customer) has invested in some well-chosen enhancements to the car, including a Carnewal sports exhaust, 20mm lower Eibach springs, Alcantara gearknob and gaiter, handbrake lever and steering wheel in Alcantara and leather, and a fire extinguisher. [...]

Here we have a returning favourite, one of the gems we were lucky enough to buy in the early days of Flat Six Classics. An Arctic Silver 986 Boxster 3.2 Tiptronic S bought by its second owner (a Mr Alan Bennett – no, not that one) in 2011 at 28,000 miles, he added a few more each year to take it to 42,500 miles by the time we bought it in 2019. Then in stunning original condition and with a perfect service record and MOT history, we sold it within 24 hours to a couple who wanted a car to take out to their holiday home in France each summer.
A couple of weeks ago they decided to sell the car and offered it back to us – I genuinely couldn’t get there fast enough! Still in amazing condition and having been looked after by Cameron Porsche near Bath for the [...]

We are lucky to see a lot of low mileage, few owner Boxsters and Caymans here at Flat Six Classics, and W382EKJ certainly ticks both those boxes. The car has had just 2 owners from new, the second of whom bought the car at just 6 months old in October 2000, looked after it for the next 22 years until offering it to us a few weeks ago. Throughout all this time the car has been used sparingly as a second car, averaging just under 2,500 miles per year.
Looking superb in Ocean Blue metallic paint with both a matching hardtop and a navy blue soft top, complemented by graphite grey leather seats, this Boxster is in excellent and highly original condition throughout. Some key options are fitted – the aforementioned hardtop, heated seats, ASR and ABD traction control (the forerunners to PSM Porsche Stability Management), 17″ Twist spoke wheels, automatic [...]

We are very pleased to welcome back one of the finest 986 Boxster 3.2 S models we have ever had here at Flat Six Classics. We sold this car to a retired metallurgist two years ago, and he has now decided to change to a more modern Gen 2 987 Boxster, so kindly offered us the chance to buy back his car. Now showing just 36,424 miles, the car has reverted back to its original registration of V715DMW.
This is a remarkably original and well-preserved 986 Boxster S built in late 1999, the first year of production of the 3.2 flat-six S model. Just 36,424 miles in over 23 years equates to about 1,600 miles a year, and with 15 service stamps in the maintenance record (11 from Porsche Centres, 2 from renowned Porsche specialist Cath Burrows, 1 from our specialist Martin Reed, and a Minor service in May 2022 at [...]

Here we have a very nice, high spec facelift Boxster 3.2 S, showing 83,402 miles and with a strong service history with just 3 owners from new. Looking fantastic in Midnight Blue metallic paint with matching Metropole blue leather interior and a navy blue hood, M123EJB was specified from new with an array of factory options – 18″ 996.2 Carrera wheels, PSM Porsche Stability Management, ParkAssistant, PCM2 Porsche Communications Management, BOSE sound system, CD autochanger, and extended leather to dashboard and door panels. Cruise control was retro-fitted in 2018.
The service history is comprehensive, and backed up with a thick file of invoices to support the ongoing maintenance. In total there are 18 service stamps in the maintenance record, plus a further 8 for brake fluid changes, all from Porsche main dealers or specialists. In addition, there are numerous invoices for additional works, including front springs (2017), rear springs (2017), Tiptronic [...]

We consider ourselves fortunate to be offered some fabulous low mileage Boxsters and Caymans from long term owners, and GJ52LUA is a great example of this. I was on my way back from London having delivered a car, and received a call from a chap in the New Forest, wondering whether I’d be interested in the 41,600 mile Boxster S he’d owned for over 15 years? “I’ll be there in an hour”, I replied, and later that afternoon the car was on my trailer and heading back to our North Devon HQ.
GJ52LUA is a 2003 facelift 986 Boxster 3.2 S Tiptronic, in ever-popular Guards Red with a black/grey SportDesign interior. The SportDesign package (option 012) comprised a set of black leather hard shell sports seats, a patterned black dash/door card material, with textured grey trim to the centre console, gear selector, instrument surrounds, seat backs and rollover bar. The car [...]
