A spectacular 986 Boxster 2.7 in very rare L2A1 Rainforest Green with contrasting Savannah extended leather interior, Y944GWS has covered 68,420 miles in the hands of 4 previous keepers, and remains in amazing original condition. The paintwork and interior are as good as any we have seen, and this is matched by the mechanical condition too. We get offered lots of 986 Boxsters to buy, and occasionally we get a call from an owner that really gets our attention. So when we got a call from a chap who said he’d had his Boxster 2.7 for 19 years, and was just the second owner, we were all ears!

X258EAX is just such a car, a fantastic early Boxster 2.7 first registered in October 2000 to a doctor, who had the registration X11MAH allocated to his Boxster to reflect his initials. The second owner bought the car in March 2003, had his private plate put on the car, and used it sparingly for almost two decades. Now showing just over 57,000 miles, it was serviced 6 times by Porsche Centre Cardiff up to 2016 and 52,484 miles, with one exception in 2014 when it had a Minor service at a local garage. A really nice early Stuttgart-built Boxster 3.2 S in rare Ocean Blue with graphite grey leather interior. 63,455 miles from new and excellent service history with 15 service stamps from Porsche and specialists. Options include sports seats and extended leather to the dashboard and door panels. Fitted with a sports exhaust, uprated stereo and replacement hood with heated glass rear screen. The car also benefits from a replacement uprated IMS bearing and new clutch in April 2020 at 60,500 miles, fitted when the gearbox was rebuilt under warranty due to a faulty selector fork.

We have prepared the car for sale with new AC condensers and a recharge of the system, refurbished the 17″ Twist spoke alloy wheels and fitted a set of new Toyo Proxes Sport tyres. The car drives exceptionally well, and is a great example of the first batch of Boxster S models in a rare colour.

Guards Red with black leather is a classic Porsche colour combination, yet one that is rare in modern classic Porsche models, hence why we just can’t get enough of them. This 987.1 Boxster 2.7 has covered 73,777 miles over the past 17 years at an average of just 4,300 miles a year, and the cosmetic condition of the car reflects this. The paintwork in particular is excellent throughout, with hardly a mark visible anywhere on the car.

A lightly optioned car, FJ05BZA is fitted with automatic air conditioning, PSM Porsche Stability Management, a 3-spoke sports steering wheel, Becker Porsche CDR-24 CD radio, and 18″ Boxster S 987.1 wheels fitted with Goodyear Eagle F1 tyres (fitted in August 2021).

The second of two very similar 987.1 Boxster S models that have come into stock at the same time, RY05KNL is a nice low mileage example with good service history. The car has covered just  55,137 miles in 17 years in the hands of 5 owners in total, an average of around 3,200 miles per year. In classic Arctic Silver with Sea Blue leather interior and a navy blue hood, RY05KNL was first registered in June 2005 by Porsche Centre Reading, and was specified with a few nice options, including 18″ alloy wheels, heated leather seats and a BOSE sound system.

The service history shows 9 service stamps, all at the correct 2 yearly intervals. With relatively low mileage over the last few years, the last two services in 2020 and 2022 were Minors, so we will carry out a Major service, fit new spark plugs and change the brake fluid [...]

We are pleased to welcome MX55WTA back to Flat Six Classics, having been sold by us 2 years ago at just under 30,000 miles. It has been well looked after by our customer, who has had the car maintained exclusively by TWG Motorsport, a well regarded Porsche specialist in Peterborough.

This stunning and very low mileage Porsche Cayman S has a predominantly Porsche main dealer service history, is now showing 38,500 miles from new and with a nice specification, complete with PCM2 Porsche Communications Management, BOSE surround sound, cruise control and extended leather to the dashboard and door panels.

Presented in rare Cobalt Blue metallic paint with full Stone grey leather interior, MX55 WTA has led a very easy life, the MOT history confirming consistent mileages of around 2,000 miles a year. M3SWX is a very special car to me, the only one I have owned twice, and the car that I have spent more time, energy and quite a bit of money on than any other.

Like many other petrolheads, I have always been interested in driving and motorsport, and first became aware of the Nurburgring Nordschleife after watching Stefan Roser in the RUF CTR1 “Yellowbird” on the grainy “Faszination” VHS tape in the 1990s. It became an ambition of mine to visit and drive the track, which first happened in 2001 when I took a day trip (!) from London with a couple of mates in my then current “sensible family car” – [...]

Another phenomenal 986 Boxster 2.7 from Flat Six Classics, KF02 XBU is a genuine two owner from new car with less than 39,000 miles recorded. Ordered by its first owner as a company car when he worked at BP, he then bought the car from the company car scheme in August 2005, at approximately 23,000 miles. Since then, the car has been used very sparingly in the summer, accumulating just 11,500 miles over the next 14 years, before we bought the car in 2019 and sold it to the second owner, who has added just 3,500 miles since.

The MOT history is super clean, with just one advisory for front brake pads in 2010 and one for tyres in 2011.

The service history is Porsche Centre Bournemouth to 2009/32,261 miles (4 stamps in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2009), then a Major service + spark plugs in 2015/34,663 miles, and a Minor [...]
