We are very pleased to welcome back one of the finest 986 Boxster 3.2 S models we have ever had here at Flat Six Classics. We sold this car to a retired metallurgist two years ago, and he has now decided to change to a more modern Gen 2 987 Boxster, so kindly offered us the chance to buy back his car. Now showing just 36,424 miles, the car has reverted back to its original registration of V715DMW.

This is a remarkably original and well-preserved 986 Boxster S built in late 1999, the first year of production of the 3.2 flat-six S model. Just 36,424 miles in over 23 years equates to about 1,600 miles a year, and with 15 service stamps in the maintenance record (11 from Porsche Centres, 2 from renowned Porsche specialist Cath Burrows, 1 from our specialist Martin Reed, and a Minor service in May 2022 at [...]

Here we have a very nice, high spec facelift Boxster 3.2 S, showing 83,402 miles and with a strong service history with just 3 owners from new. Looking fantastic in Midnight Blue metallic paint with matching Metropole blue leather interior and a navy blue hood, M123EJB was specified from new with an array of factory options – 18″ 996.2 Carrera wheels, PSM Porsche Stability Management, ParkAssistant, PCM2 Porsche Communications Management, BOSE sound system, CD autochanger, and extended leather to dashboard and door panels. Cruise control was retro-fitted in 2018.

The service history is comprehensive, and backed up with a thick file of invoices to support the ongoing maintenance. We consider ourselves fortunate to be offered some fabulous low mileage Boxsters and Caymans from long term owners, and GJ52LUA is a great example of this. I was on my way back from London having delivered a car, and received a call from a chap in the New Forest, wondering whether I’d be interested in the 41,600 mile Boxster S he’d owned for over 15 years? “I’ll be there in an hour”, I replied, and later that afternoon the car was on my trailer and heading back to our North Devon HQ.

GJ52LUA is a 2003 facelift 986 Boxster 3.2 S Tiptronic, in ever-popular Guards Red with a black/grey SportDesign interior. A very nice low mileage 986 Boxster 2.7 with good service history and lots of recent works by the last owner, Y181CGP has covered just 72,500 miles in 21 years, on average fewer than 4,000 miles per year. The car has had just 4 owners from new, and was unusual in some respects as it was ordered with very few options – just extended leather to the dash and door cards, heated leather seats, on board computer and 17″ Boxster “twist spoke” wheels. No air conditioning, no storage box on the engine cover, and no wind deflector. It has a real lightweight, pared back feel with the roof down, a proper roadster! One owner from new until May 2022, just 34,808 miles in 20 years and with a mouthwatering specification, this is a beautiful facelift Boxster S in absolutely tip top condition.

Ordered from Dick Lovett at Porsche Centre Swindon by a Mr Broscombe of Wallingford, Oxon, WU03HKK was registered on 2nd May 2003 with the following specification – Arctic Silver metallic paint with Boxster Red extended leather interior and black hood (echoing the look of the 1993 Boxster Spyder concept and launch colours of the Boxster in 1997), hardtop, sports seats, gearknob and handbrake lever with aluminium inlay, automatic air conditioning. ParkAssistant, anti dazzle interior and door mirrors, rain sensing wipers and PSM Porsche Stability Management.

This 1999 Porsche Boxster 2.5 Tiptronic is a low-mileage, three owner car, presented in excellent original condition throughout. The odometer now shows 60,803 miles, the last owner having added nearly 20,000 miles in the past 18 months (…we can only assume he really enjoyed driving the car!).

First registered in July 1999, this fabulous Boxster was in the possession of its first keeper for almost 22 years, until we purchased the car in March 2021 and sold it to its second owner, whose circumstances meant he had to sell the car back to us after just a few months’ ownership. The third owner bought T59FRU from us in August 2021, and has used it as his daily driver, commuting from deepest Surrey up to Hampton Hill. A verifiable Porsche enthusiast who also owns a 930 Turbo and a 914, he has now returned the car to us to avoid the ever-widening ULEZ [...]

Here we have a terrific 987 Gen 1 Boxster 3.2 S from 2006, in classic Arctic Silver with Sea Blue leather interior. Ordered with just a few well chosen options – 18″ alloy wheels, cruise control and rear parking sensors, S25BXR has a very good service history, with 12 service stamps in the maintenance record over 16 years, and a further 6 stamps for brake fluid changes.

Between 2012 and 2018 the car was looked after by very well respected Porsche specialists Parr in Crawley. The supporting invoices in the history file show a significant amount of additional maintenance work, including front coffin arms (2014 at 58,032 miles), a new clutch and RMS (2016 at 63,828 miles), water pump (2016 at 64,324 miles), front dampers, top mounts and bumpstops (2017 at 66,943 miles), brake discs and pads (rears 2015, fronts 2016), coolant hoses (2017 at 69,721 miles).
