We are lucky to be offered some spectacular Boxsters here at Flat Six Classics, and WU03HKK is right up there with the best of the breed. One owner from new until May 2022, just 34,808 miles in 20 years and with a mouthwatering specification, this is a beautiful facelift Boxster S in absolutely tip top condition.

Ordered from Dick Lovett at Porsche Centre Swindon by a Mr Broscombe of Wallingford, Oxon, WU03HKK was registered on 2nd May 2003 with the following specification – Arctic Silver metallic paint with Boxster Red extended leather interior and black hood (echoing the look of the 1993 Boxster Spyder concept and launch colours of the Boxster in 1997), hardtop, sports seats, gearknob and handbrake lever with aluminium inlay, automatic air conditioning. ParkAssistant, anti dazzle interior and door mirrors, rain sensing wipers and PSM Porsche Stability Management.

This 1999 Porsche Boxster 2.5 Tiptronic is a low-mileage, three owner car, presented in excellent original condition throughout. The odometer now shows 60,803 miles, the last owner having added nearly 20,000 miles in the past 18 months (…we can only assume he really enjoyed driving the car!).

First registered in July 1999, this fabulous Boxster was in the possession of its first keeper for almost 22 years, until we purchased the car in March 2021 and sold it to its second owner, whose circumstances meant he had to sell the car back to us after just a few months’ ownership. The third owner bought T59FRU from us in August 2021, and has used it as his daily driver, commuting from deepest Surrey up to Hampton Hill. A verifiable Porsche enthusiast who also owns a 930 Turbo and a 914, he has now returned the car to us to avoid the ever-widening ULEZ [...]

Here we have a terrific 987 Gen 1 Boxster 3.2 S from 2006, in classic Arctic Silver with Sea Blue leather interior. Ordered with just a few well chosen options – 18″ alloy wheels, cruise control and rear parking sensors, S25BXR has a very good service history, with 12 service stamps in the maintenance record over 16 years, and a further 6 stamps for brake fluid changes.

Between 2012 and 2018 the car was looked after by very well respected Porsche specialists Parr in Crawley. The supporting invoices in the history file show a significant amount of additional maintenance work, including front coffin arms (2014 at 58,032 miles), a new clutch and RMS (2016 at 63,828 miles), water pump (2016 at 64,324 miles), front dampers, top mounts and bumpstops (2017 at 66,943 miles), brake discs and pads (rears 2015, fronts 2016), coolant hoses (2017 at 69,721 miles).

The car has covered just 43,400 miles from new, and has a comprehensive service history, with 8 service stamps in the maintenance record, and 6 brake fluid change stamps, backed up with copy invoices and all from recognised Porsche specialists and an OPC. A spectacular 986 Boxster 2.7 in very rare L2A1 Rainforest Green with contrasting Savannah extended leather interior, Y944GWS has covered 68,420 miles in the hands of 4 previous keepers, and remains in amazing original condition. The paintwork and interior are as good as any we have seen, and this is matched by the mechanical condition too. The car has a lovely set of factory options – extended leather with embossed Porsche crests to the headrests, PSM Porsche Stability Management, Litronic xenon headlights, leather Sport steering wheel, model designation delete to the bootlid, a factory supplied hardtop with garage stand, and a set of incredibly rare genuine “Speedster humps” (option code XAB – Spyder rear).

We get offered lots of 986 Boxsters to buy, and occasionally we get a call from an owner that really gets our attention. So when we got a call from a chap who said he’d had his Boxster 2.7 for 19 years, and was just the second owner, we were all ears!

X258EAX is just such a car, a fantastic early Boxster 2.7 first registered in October 2000 to a doctor, who had the registration X11MAH allocated to his Boxster to reflect his initials. The second owner bought the car in March 2003, had his private plate put on the car, and used it sparingly for almost two decades. Now showing just over 57,000 miles, it was serviced 6 times by Porsche Centre Cardiff up to 2016 and 52,484 miles, with one exception in 2014 when it had a Minor service at a local garage. A really nice early Stuttgart-built Boxster 3.2 S in rare Ocean Blue with graphite grey leather interior. 63,455 miles from new and excellent service history with 15 service stamps from Porsche and specialists. Options include sports seats and extended leather to the dashboard and door panels. Fitted with a sports exhaust, uprated stereo and replacement hood with heated glass rear screen. The car also benefits from a replacement uprated IMS bearing and new clutch in April 2020 at 60,500 miles, fitted when the gearbox was rebuilt under warranty due to a faulty selector fork.

We have prepared the car for sale with new AC condensers and a recharge of the system, refurbished the 17″ Twist spoke alloy wheels and fitted a set of new Toyo Proxes Sport tyres. The car drives exceptionally well, and is a great example of the first batch of Boxster S models in a rare colour.
