We are lucky to be offered some spectacular Boxsters here at Flat Six Classics, and WU03HKK is right up there with the best of the breed. One owner from new until May 2022, just 34,808 miles in 20 years and with a mouthwatering specification, this is a beautiful facelift Boxster S in absolutely tip top condition.

Ordered from Dick Lovett at Porsche Centre Swindon by a Mr Broscombe of Wallingford, Oxon, WU03HKK was registered on 2nd May 2003 with the following specification – Arctic Silver metallic paint with Boxster Red extended leather interior and black hood (echoing the look of the 1993 Boxster Spyder concept and launch colours of the Boxster in 1997), hardtop, sports seats, gearknob and handbrake lever with aluminium inlay, automatic air conditioning. ParkAssistant, anti dazzle interior and door mirrors, rain sensing wipers and PSM Porsche Stability Management.

Wearing the registration BR02COM for much of his 19 year tenure, the first owner used his Boxster S consistently yet sparingly, averaging about 1,800 miles a year up to 2022, when it was bought by the second owner as a gift for his father. Unfortunately it has proved uncomfortable for him to drive, hence it being offered to us a few weeks ago.

In simply stunning cosmetic and mechanical condition throughout, the car has maintained a totally fresh appearance – clear headlights, unfaded black plastics, no perceivable wear or damage to the interior. On the road, it feels exactly like a new Boxster did back in the early 2000’s – tightly screwed together, supple suspension and no slack in any of the controls. Even when driven gently, the inherent build quality and balanced control weights shines through. And when you decide to push on a little the car comes alive, full of steering feel and feedback, with beautifully balanced handling and a composed ride along with the evocative sound of the 260bhp flat-six engine. Wow, a very special Boxster indeed!

The service history is complete as far as the maintenance record is concerned, however the dealer who sold the car in 2022 did not retain any of the first owner’s documents, citing GDPR rules requiring them to shred the old invoices and MOT certificates – a real shame. There are 8 stamps in the maintenance record, the first two from Porsche Centre Swindon (2004 and 2005), 3 from RSJ Sportscars (2008, 2010 and 2012), and one each from Wrightune (2017), Westland Autos (2022) and Flat Six Classics (2023). We have prepared the car for sale with a Minor service, brake fluid change and a new pair of rear tyres. A fresh MOT will be provided prior to sale.
