Back in November 2018, we purchased a 1 owner, 23k mile Boxster S with a full Porsche service history from the supplying dealer Porsche Centre Sutton Coldfield. It was in truly amazing condition, and was soon sold to a car enthusiast and collector near St. Albans. We kept in touch (his daughter and her family live just 5 miles down the road here in North Devon) and when he decided to sell the car, we jumped at the opportunity.

X226XJT remains in simply stunning original condition throughout. The chap we sold it to has maintained it’s Porsche only service history, having had it comprehensively serviced (Major service + brake fluid change + AC service + exhaust fittings = large bill) at Porsche Centre Hatfield in August 2020 at 24,473 miles. In total there are so many Porsche service stamps (I counted 39!) that the original service record is full, so a second service book has been sourced and is now carrying on the remarkable history of this unique Boxster.

A real timewarp car, the history file includes every invoice and MOT certificate the car has ever had. Despite the low mileage, this Boxster has been serviced to schedule by Sutton Coldfield OPC every year from new. We continued the unbroken Porsche history with an annual check and brake fluid change at Porsche Centre Exeter in November 2018, as has the second owner as detailed above.

Presented in as-new condition, the Lapis Blue paintwork, Graphite Grey leather upholstery and black hood are all as close to immaculate as makes no difference. None of the trim shows any sign of age or wear, the headlights are perfectly clear, and the car is almost as clean underneath as it is on top. It drives as well as it looks, tight and rattle free, just like a new car. Without doubt the finest 986 Boxster we have ever seen (…and we’ve had a few like it!)
