Here we have another lovely early Boxster S, in the classic colour combination of Arctic Silver with black leather. J70 YLR was first registered in September 2000 and delivered by Porsche Centre Bournemouth to its first owner, who specified a mouthwatering selection of options for his Boxster: heated sports seats, Litronic xenon headlamps with washer system, extended leather to dashboard and door cards, 18″ 993 Turbo look wheels, PSM Porsche Stability Management, and a couple of lovely cosmetic touches – roll over bar painted Arctic Silver, and aluminium inlays to the gearknob and handbrake lever.

This Boxster has covered 89,518 miles over the past 20 years or so, with 55,000 of these being covered in the first 6 years, before settling back to a more typical 2,500 miles per year since then. The maintenance history is very good, with 16 service stamps in the maintenance record. We have just completed a Major service with spark plugs and a brake fluid change, and the previous owner fitted new brake discs and pads, and a new water pump in 2018. The eagle eyed amongst you will also see that the car has had a “centre console delete” kit fitted, which gives a more classic Porsche look to the dash, and a bit more knee room for taller drivers!
