GX03MXL has covered just under 50,000 miles in the hands of just three owners from new, the first of whom owned the car for 9 years until 2012. In fantastic condition throughout with just a couple of age-related marks on the exterior paintwork, GX03MXL is an unusual car for Flat Six Classics, in that the recorded service history is a little patchy (four stamps from new to 2013 – two OPC – then owner serviced 7 times from 2014 to date).

However, the MOT history is absolutely perfect, with not a single advisory showing in 13 annual tests since 2006. Our inspection of the car just reinforced the various MOT testers’ opinions – very little to report, other than the usual deterioration of the exhaust flange bolts and the need for a precautionary service and brake fluid change. Everything else works exactly as it should, and on the road GX03MXL drives superbly – strong engine, light clutch and snickety gear change, precise steering and supple handling. The air conditioning is cold, all the electrical equipment including the hood works perfectly, and the interior shows very few signs of wear at all.

As a facelift car, GX03MXL features increased power and torque, heated glass screen in the hood, glovebox and cupholders, and clear lenses to the lights. Options fitted to this car include 18″ 996 Turbo-Look alloy wheels, Becker Porsche CDR-23 CD-radio, and leather seats with Porsche crests to the headrests. The tyres are all Pirelli P Zero N-rated, virtually new on the rear.
