Porsche Boxster & Cayman for sale

We are delighted to welcome back T15DCM, a lovely 2.5 Boxster we sold in April 2021 to a customer in Surrey, who now has the chance to buy back his first ever Porsche (a 912 – lucky chap!), so offered us the chance to buy back his Boxster. This is a fantastic entry level 986 Boxster 2.5, in a classic Porsche colour – L744 Black metallic – with black leather interior and hood. T15 DCM has now covered 81,680 miles over the last 23 years, at an average of around 3,500 miles per year. The specification is pretty basic with just a few well chosen options – automatic air conditioning, headlamp washer system, sports seats and extended leather to the dashboard and door panels.

The service history is excellent, with 12 stamps in the service record, the first five from supplying dealer Porsche Centre Cambridge, the remainder a mix of Porsche specialists. We prepared the car last year with a Minor service, new rear “coffin arms”, replacement of the front brake discs and pads, and servicing the AC system. This time around we are replacing the rear dampers (one of them has a leak) with OEM spec Bilstein B4 units, and the rear trailing arms to complete the refreshment of the rear suspension. We will also inspect the car, carry out a brake fluid change and provide a fresh MOT before sale.

This is a great example of the classic 986 Boxster, built in Stuttgart and in completely standard and original condition throughout. The 204bhp 2.5 flat-six engines in these cars are incredibly smooth and love to rev, with their characteristic whirr as the revs rise, very little flywheel effect and a light precise feeling to all the controls. A perfect entry point to Porsche ownership.
