A superb looking Gen 2 Porsche Cayman 2.9 in Platinum Silver with black leather interior, KU60BVN is also our first PDK gearbox Cayman.

Just over 82,000 miles in the hands of four keepers, and with a full Porsche service history, this fabulous Cayman is in superb condition throughout, and has some attractive options fitted – heated seats, cruise control, PCM3 Porsche Communication Management, rear parking sensors and a multifunction steering wheel. The car runs on 17″ alloy wheels with N-rated Michelin Pilot Sport tyres (new on the front), and the ride and handling are exemplary.

It is very unusual to come across a 15-year old Porsche Cayman that has been covered by an official Porsche extended warranty for its entire life, as the requirements to qualify for one are stringent to say the least (including the need for a comprehensive and “to schedule” service history within the OPC network). LJ55WWF is such a car, its Porsche warranty having only just expired when we purchased the car from its 3rd owner at the end of November.

This Basalt black 987.1 Cayman 3.4 S has covered just 52,651 miles since new, and benefits from a fantastic specification including PASM adaptive dampers, BOSE sound system, heated seats, extended leather to dashboard and door panels, Sport button, short shifter, PCM2 Porsche Communications Management with 6-CD autochanger, Litronic xenon headlights and ParkAssistant rear parking sensors.

We don’t stock many Tiptronic Boxsters here at Flat Six Classics, as most of our customers are looking for an analogue driving experience that includes 3 pedals and a stick for changing ratios. However, every once in a while we are offered a Tiptronic that is so nice we cannot turn it down, and KN03NMJ is just such a car, having covered just under 54,000 miles in the past 17 years (that’s a smidge over 3,000 miles a year to save you the maths!).

Stunning in Cobalt Blue with graphite grey leather interior and a black hood, KN03NMJ is virtually spotless inside and out, a real credit to its previous owners, who weren’t exactly shy when it came to maintenance as well. Here we have a superb looking Boxster 3.2 S from 2005, in special order Porsche GT Silver with Stone grey extended leather interior. The options boxes were well ticked when the car was ordered, as it features Sport Chrono, BOSE sound system, PCM2 Porsche Communication Management, Becker Porsche CDC-4 CD changer, hardback sports seats and 19″ ‘lobster claw’ alloy wheels.

The service history is good, a mix of Porsche Centres and well known specialists (Paragon and JAZ). The last service just a few hundred miles ago in January 2020 was carried out by a non-specialist, so we have completed a Major service, new spark plugs, brake fluid change, new rear Bilstein dampers (one was leaking) and replacement exhaust flange bolts.

A lovely low mileage “facelift” 986 Boxster S with just 48,485 miles from new, VU04GZA looks great in Seal Grey with black leather interior and hood. Fitted with some nice options including 18″ Sport Design split-rim BBS wheels, PSM Porsche Stability Management, automatic air conditioning and rear parking sensors.

Good service history with 7 service stamps in the maintenance record, plus an owner service in May 2019 including new spark plugs, we have prepared the car with a Major service, brake fluid change inspection and replacement of the exhaust flange gaskets, bolts and all four pipe clamps.

A really smart facelift Boxster that drives very well indeed.

Here we have a great looking 987.1 Boxster 3.4 S from 2006, in Seal Grey with black leather interior and hood. The recorded mileage is higher than most of our stock at 89,890 miles, but we were happy to take the car in part exchange because of the excellent maintenance history and overall condition.

The scheduled servicing history is very good and to the correct time intervals, showing services and brake fluid changes every 2 years,  as follows:

The 987 Cayman S is quite rightly regarded as one of the finest handling sports cars ever, and here we have another low mileage example, with only three owners from new and an impeccable service record.

SN06NRZ is a well specified Cayman S that has covered just 45,000 miles from new, and is presented in Seal Grey metallic paint with black leather interior. Options include hardback sports seats, BOSE, cruise control, PCM2 radio/CD/nav, 18″ 5-spoke alloy wheels, headlamp washers and rear wiper.

The service history shows 7 stamps, at the following intervals (a credit to the owners for their timing!):

We are lucky here at Flat Six Classics to be offered a decent number of very good Boxster and Cayman models, from enthusiastic owners keen to avoid the hassles and pitfalls of selling their car privately. And then occasionally we get a call offering us a car like Y159JDV, from the original owner who ordered the car from Porsche Centre Exeter in early 2001.

One owner cars approaching 20 years old are always special, and when they have been looked after with a fastidious level of care and attention over an extended period, the results are plain to see. With just 31,800 miles from new (that’s about 1,700 miles a year), and only ever driven by one owner (who wanted to check that my trousers were clean before I got in the car!), this Boxster is in near immaculate condition inside and out.

Here we have another low mileage, low owner “facelift” Boxster 2.7 in rare Atlas Grey (introduced in 2004 so only specified on a few final year 986 models), with black leather interior and hood.

44,134 miles from new, and with just one owner from new until 2019, RX04YUS is in superb cosmetic and mechanical condition throughout. The spec is light, but with a few well-chosen options – heated seats, PSM Porsche Stability Management, and climate control. The original Porsche umbrella is still with the car, in the passenger side sill cubby (a rare thing indeed!).

The service history is very good, with 7 stamps in the maintenance record, the first 6 of which are from the supplying dealer Porsche Centre Guildford. The last service was carried out by well respected Porsche specialists Parr in July 2019.
