We count ourselves lucky to see some fantastic Boxsters and Caymans here at Flat Six Classics, then every now and again something really special turns up. CN54DZO is one of those – a very low mileage, (almost) one owner car with a perfect service record, one of the last 986 Boxsters registered in September 2004, and with a mouthwatering specification.

CN54DZO was delivered to its first owner, a Mr Williams of Cardiff, on 24th September 2004, yet within a year he had sold the car to its long term owner, a dentist from Cowbridge near Cardiff, who cherished his Boxster for the next 17 years, having it maintained by Porsche Centre Cardiff right up to 2019, with the last service being carried out by Welsh Porsche, a well known specialist also in Cardiff. This was the first “Gen 2″ 987 Boxster we sold a year or so ago, and now back in stock as the current newly-wed owners are now expecting their first child – congratulations!

Presented in Arctic Silver with black perforated leather and black hood, LL58 UDX is in lovely condition throughout. Now with just 68,120 miles from new in the hands of 5 owners, this super looking 987.2 Boxster has the 255bhp 2.9-litre flat six DFI engine, a 6-speed gearbox, and heated AND cooled seats no less!

Before selling the car in 2020, we had the 18” wheels professionally refurbished, fitted new brake discs and pads front and rear, and carried out an Intermediate service and brake fluid change. The car will be inspected prior to sale and has just had a fresh MOT.

P30 RPM is just such a car – a “facelift” Boxster 3.2 S that we have now sold twice since 2019, low mileage at just 59,789 miles, and with a mouth-watering specification – Seal Grey, black extended leather, heated seats, BOSE sound system, Litronic xenon headlights, 18” 996.2 Carrera wheels, rear parking sensors and PSM Porsche Stability Management.

An unusual car for us to stock, in that GK05AYX has covered a fair few miles in its 16 years, but when we were offered the car as a part exchange we couldn’t say no once we’d driven it and looked at the recent service history.

With 134,200 miles under its 19″ ‘Lobster Claw’ alloy wheels, one would normally expect a Boxster like this to feel a bit baggy and tired, but not this one! The previous owner had the car for four years, and did not shy away from spending money on key maintenance items. The service history is solid, with 8 stamps recorded at a mix of OPCs and Porsche specialists. Latterly, the car was cared for by Christian Sanger in Coate, Wiltshire, and has had the following works completed in recent years:

An early Stuttgart-built 986 Boxster 2.5 with very low genuine mileage of 43,296, K239KRC was first registered on January 1st 1998, so would have been built during 1997, making it one of the first UK cars (there was a waiting list of up to 12 months from order to delivery due to massive demand at launch).

Looking great in period Zenith Blue metallic paint with graphite grey leather interior, K239KRC has just a few options fitted – automatic air conditioning, 17″ Twist-spoke wheels, leather seats, wind deflector, centre console with CD compartment, an on-board computer and the super-rare soft zipped storage pocket on the engine cover (only fitted to the very early 2.5 cars, superseded with a hard plastic storage box from 1999).

Here we have another great looking “facelift” Boxster 2.7 in ever popular Seal Grey, this time with complementary Graphite grey leather interior and a black hood. This lovely Boxster has now covered 77,480 miles (average about 4,600 a year). It was first registered as SN03BHL by Porsche Centre Edinburgh in June 2003, and was serviced at the OPC three times before being sold by its first owner to a chap from Belfast in 2008. The second owner changed the registration to TFZ9541 as is normal in Northern Ireland, and kept the car for 10 years before it came back to the UK and was sold to just its third owner by well known Porsche specialists JR Motor Company of Coventry in 2018.
